Plot Rates Frozen for 2013/14

​

​We can confirm that Plot Rates have been FROZEN for the New Year 2013/14 starting April at £20 per plot.

This can currently only be paid by cash but shortly, cheque payments will also be accepted. Details of this will follow in due course.

We are currently putting together Allotment Guidelines which will comprise of our aim the the Allotment Site,but also but Rules & Regulations in to place that must be adhered to by ALL members.

These Guidelines will be covered in the next Meeting and any question and queries can be raised at that time and we will be happy to clarify any uncetainties. Guidelines will be reviewed annually but any alterations made to them will be announced and new guidelines will be issued in writing to all members.

The Guidelines will include......

​

Who can apply for a plot, What you can grow and caring for your plot, Shed and fencing guidelines, Animals on the plot,Rules for Burning on the Allotment, Maintenance & Repairs,Rent and Ending plot tenancy

We are very excited to have our website up and running.

This will not only keep members up to date with information,meetings and Events but hopefully will spread the word of our regeneration of the Allotment.

We hope that bring the Allotments back to its former glory will bot only bring the community together but to bring hope & happiness for those who it is a lifeline.

Feel free to contact us if you would like to see any additions to the site as it is a work in progress and we are willing to take on all feedback to improve our communication.

The land was left by R J Bentley to the people of the poor house,located on Bentley Road.

​

​The land has remained allotment land ever since, but recently has been left as waste land until 2012 when our Association was formed to restore the Allotments to its former glory.
